Spread super glue all over the surface of the nail, where you want the patch to adhere. For drop on glue, use a good sized drop and spread it around with the tip of the applicator or with a wooden toothpick. For brush on glue, simply brush it on the area to be covered.

Spread or brush another layer of super glue over the top of the nail repair and check again to make sure no bubbles or lifted edges have formed. If they have, press them down with the toothpick.

  7. Step 7

Blow on the repair and keep checking for a good seal until the nail repair is dry.

  8. Step 8

File off any rough edges with your nail file.

  9. Step 9

Brush clear top coat, or other nail polish to protect nail repair. Nail polish with nylon is the strongest and will help your repair last two-weeks or more. Repeat as needed, until the tear grows out to the point where it can be trimmed off.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be careful not to let your skin touch the glue, or you will glue your fingers together.
