Step 1
Make sure your article follows the sentence How to........
Research the topic even if you have lots of knowledge already on the subject.
Write as if you are having a discussion with someone else on the topic.
Use the spell check button every time you finish a step, even if there is only one or two lines to check. -
Step 2
Save and review at the end of each step, helps frustration from kicking in, but mainly gives you a breathing space to recheck your article for mistakes.
Start every sentence with an action verb.
Make a list of action verbs relative to your main subject, as in my case; cook, poach, roast, chop, slice, chiffonade (gotcha, go google). -
Step 3
Re-write the line if it does not start with an action word, e.g Julia Child was an icon of French cuisine, you should read her book.
Change to. Read Julia Child's book on French Cusine.....you get the idea.
Read my article again each line has an action verb; make sure, research, write, save, start, make, re-write, read etc. -
Step 4
Check the grammar if you are not sure about a term or correct definition, change it, doesn't= does not isn't= is not etc.
Go to your local library for English grammar books.
Add three to five key words separated with a space as per the instructions.
Research strong key words for your article. -
Step 5
Keep to the subject matter, you surely can mention yourself and your experiences as long as it is relative to the subject, don't, I mean do not go of on a tangent.
Look at the title of this article it is How To Publish 100 Articles not how to make money publishing articles. I'll save those for the tips section. -
Step 6
Have someone else proof read your article before publishing, another set of eyes is invaluable.
Wait at least an hour or two after finishing your articles before publishing. More ideas usually come to you.
Click on each image to check their clarity and value.
Save, review and spell check again before finally publishing.
