Feeling under the weather? These simple remedies will help you on your way to feeling better in no time.

Things You'll Need:

  • Nyquil
  • Rest
  • Good Movie
  1. Step 1

    Now that you have identified you have a cold it is time to start getting better. First call into work, the last thing you need to do is be the person that gets the whole office sick. Through out this possess it is important to keep a positive attitude. If you think it will take you, a week to get over this then it will. Remember mind over matter people.

  2. Step 2

    Depending on the severity of your cold, you might want to quarantine yourself to one part of the house. (Usually the room with the biggest T.V.) This will help to keep the rest of your family from getting sick with you. The last thing you want is to be sick and have to take care of sick children to.

  3. Step 3

    Now that you have setup home base, get comfortable your going to be there for a while. I personally like to start out taking Nyquil. It knocks me out in the first hour, and then you wake up in a medicated haze 6 hours later.

  4. Step 4

    For though’s of you who have coughed yourself into the worst sort throat of your life. There are some great ways to make it feel better. Start with some Peppermint Tea. Then move onto the cough drops. (If the sore throat persists, the problem might be more severe then a cold. Go to a doctor they will give you better drugs then the stuff you get over the counter)

Tips & Warnings
  • Take a hot bath; this will help your sinus.
  • Sleep is the key to getting better, take advantage and sleep the day away.
  • Nyquil side affects: Constipation; diarrhea; dizziness; drowsiness; excitability; headache; loss of appetite; nausea; nervousness or anxiety; trouble sleeping; upset stomach; vomiting; weakness.
  • Always consult your doctor
