Everyone will eventually experience some sort of foot pain in their lives. Some common foot pain can be brought on if you have flat feet, Plantar fasciitis, a fallen arch, bunions, corns, or Rheumatoid Arthritis. Whatever type of pain you are having with your feet, heels or ankles, their is something you can do to help treat the pain. Find ways to take care of your sore feet.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

See a doctor about any type of foot, ankle or heel pain you are having so they can tell you exactly what is going on. Sometimes an X-ray may be needed because you may have a fracture in one of your toes and not know it.

  2. Step 2

Buy comfortable walking shoes or sneakers especially if your job is standing and walking all day. I work at a mall, so my job requires me to stand and walk all day long and that was taking a toll on my feet because I did not have the proper walking shoes. I purchased the Reebok Evra shoe from Sears and those seem to be helping with my foot pain.

Here are some more items you may want to look into for your foot pain:
    1. Check out the "I Love Comfort Shoes". These are found at Sears and can be purchased for $19.99 and up.
    2. Check out the Reebok Walking Shoes, New Balance Walking Shoes, and the Easy Spirit Shoes. These can be found at JcPenny's and some Macy's stores.
    3. Check out the Z-Coil Pain Relief Footwear Shoes. I saw this one on television. The shoes look a little funny, but they are supposed to really help with foot pain especially Plantar fasciitis.

  3. Step 3

Treat yourself to a Pedicure or give yourself a pedicure. If you are going for a pedicure, make sure you do a review on the place you want to go to or ask a friend if they can refer you to some place. There are several products you can buy at stores or online to treat your feet. Walmart has a pretty decent foot care section.

Purchase products to care for your feet. You can find foot care products at any drug store or at Amazon.com.

Some products you will want to look into include:
    1. Triad Orthotic Inserts (Available at Walmart)
    2. Diabetic Socks - I saw brand new Diabetic Socks at Goodwill for only $1.00. I know Walmart also sells them.
    3. Miracle of Aloe: Foot Repair Cream Skin Care (Walmart)
    4. Dr Scholl's: Medicated Corn Removers
    5. Ped Egg Pedicure Foot File (Amazon.com)

  5. Step 5

Purchase a Foot Massager or a Foot Bath to take care of your tired or sore feet. (See the list of resources at the end of this article.)
