Things You'll Need:
- A basic knowledge of crochet and crochet terms
- 2 balls or yarn and a hook to play with
-
Step 1
Work a length of chain with A. Work two rows with A, but do not complete the last stitch of the second row; leave two loops on the hook.
Loop B over the hook and draw it through the working loop. This completes the last stitch of this row. Do not fasten off color A. -
Step 2
Turn the work. Twist color B 'yarn tail' over and under the 'yarn tail' of color A to hold A in place. Work the next two rows in B. Do not complete the last stitch; leave two loops on the hook (sound familiar?).
-
Step 3
Pick up color A and complete the last stitch in A. Turn the work. Twist A over and under B to hold B in place. Continue to work stripes in A and B in this fashion until the desired number of stripes has been reached. Fasten off.
