Things You'll Need:
- Intex pool vacuum head
- Telescoping vacuum pole
- Garden hose
- Water spigot with water supply
- Intex vacuum debris bag
-
Step 1
Attach the telescoping vacuum handle to the vacuum head. The vacuum head has a shaft with two pins that will fit into holes at the end of the handle.
-
Step 2
Tie the debris bag onto the vacuum head. The bag attaches to the hole that is not threaded for a hose connection.
-
Step 3
Screw a garden hose onto the threaded female opening on the vacuum head.
-
Step 4
Attach the garden hose to an outside water spigot.
-
Step 5
Place the vacuum head into the pool and turn on the water supply.
-
Step 6
Move the vacuum across the bottom of the pool in slow and easy strokes. The faster you move the vacuum, the more the debris from the bottom of the pool will be stirred up.
-
Step 7
Remove the vacuum from the pool once the entire bottom surface has been cleaned.
-
Step 8
Empty and rinse the debris bag and allow it to dry.
