How to Make Scrapbooking Die Cut Buttons

You don't have to spend a lot of money in the craft aisle or at a fancy craft store to get the die cut buttons that you want. If you have a connection to the Internet and a printer, you have easy access to many different clip art sites, where you can download the images you want to free. Some of the clip art websites cater especially to scrapbook enthusiasts and have an array of useful and decorative images that you are free to use.

  • Card stock
  • Scissors
  • Printer paper
  • Printer
  • Roll adhesive

      Go to a free scrapbook embellishment printout site (see Resources. Search for the type of button that you want and download it to your computer.

      Print the image or images and glue or use roll adhesive to securely attach the back of the paper to a sturdy piece of card stock. Make sure you will still be able to cut through the card stock easily.

      Cut along the outside of the image. Work slowly to make sure you don't accidentally cut into it.
