How to Make a Model of a Skeleton With Pasta
-
1
Glue two to three pieces of penne or other thin tube pasta in a straight line on the construction paper for the neck and spine. Start the bottom of the spine just above the halfway point of the paper with the paper in portrait position.
-
2
Glue a piece of penne on each side toward the top of the spine for collar bones.
-
-
3
Affix two pieces of penne to each collar bone for arms. Set the upper arm pasta at a slight angle out and the lower arm pasta at a slight angle in to create a bent arm effect.
-
4
Glue two lima beans at the bottom of the spine for hip bones. Place the beans so that the larger outside edge of the bean is the outer part of the hip bone and the smaller arch is toward the inside. The beans should look like two letter C's facing each other, one facing the right way and one backwards, touching at the top but open at the bottom.
-
5
Affix the legs. Glue two pieces of penne coming off the lima beans at a slight outward angle for the thigh bones. Glue on two navy beans for the knees, one at the end of each thigh bone. Add two more pieces of penne below the navy beans for the shin bones.
-
6
Add small pieces of thin spaghetti noodles to the bottoms of the arms and legs for hands, fingers, feet, and toes.
-
7
Glue four to five macaroni noodles on each side of the spine for ribs. Place the macaroni so that the open ends of the noodles face down.
-
8
Affix the wagon wheel pasta at the top of the neck for the head.
