      For the first week after installation, water sod frequently throughout the day in 15-minute increments.

      For the second week, water sod once a day for about one hour. Sod will receive about 1/4" to 1/2" of water.

      During the third and fourth week, water less frequently, about two to three times, allowing the sod to receive 1/4" to 1/2" of water.

      After the first month, the sod should be established. Water only as needed, usually once a week. If sod shows signs of stress (blades will fold down the center), increase the length of the watering time.
