Things You'll Need:
- Cotton Cloth
- Dish Washing Liquid
- Water
- Hydrogen Peroxide
- Acetone
- Marble Cleaner
- Rolling Pin Sleeve

Step 1
Keep the marble rolling pin away from coffee, tea, wine, citrus fruit, tomatoes, vinegar and any other acidic substances. They can stain and etch the surface.

Step 2
Wipe the rolling pin with a clean damp cotton cloth after each use, or if necessary, dip the cloth in warm soapy dishwater and clean the rolling pin. Do not immerse the rolling pin in water.

Step 3
Clean stains from the rolling pin with a neutral pH non-abrasive cleanser, such as hydrogen peroxide or acetone. Rinse immediately with plain water. Repeat if necessary.

Use a special marble cleaner to remove tough stains, carefully following the manufacturer's directions. These cleaners are available at hardware stores.

Store your marble rolling pin in a cotton or flexible plastic sleeve to prevent it from becoming scratched.
