How to Create Navigation Bars in Microsoft Publisher

Microsoft Publisher is a powerful web publishing program, allowing the user to create customized websites. One of the many features on Publisher is the ability to create navigation bars. Instructions

1. Left click on the "Insert" menu, "Navigation Bar" then "New."

2. Left click the "Objects by Category" tab then select the design of the navigation bar. Click "Insert Object" when you're finished selecting the design. Clicking "Insert Object" will close the box and bring up a new dialog box.

3. Find "Name" in the new dialog box and type in the title you'd like to name the navigation bar.

4. Select which pages the navigation bar will be displayed on under "Insert Options" in the dialog box.

5. Check the box "Update this navigation bar with links to existing pages in this publication" and then left click "OK" to finish adding the navigation bar.
