Step 1
Learn the game's basic strategy. The first level will give you a good walk-through. Each customer must first be seated. When the customer raises her hand, you need to take her order and turn it in at the counter. Each order will come up with a number on top of it. Deliver the tray to the correct table. When the customer is finished, collect your tip and clear the table, dropping the dirty dishes in the cart in the upper right hand corner.
-
Step 2
Chain your actions to earn additional points. If you perform the same action more than once in a row, you will create a chain and earn a bonus. If your customers are patient enough, you can hold off on taking their orders until several tables are ready at once so you can chain the orders and chain the food deliveries when the orders come up.
-
Step 3
Seat customers in chairs that match the color of their clothes. You can earn a bonus up to four times for each chair. If you seat a customer with an outfit that differs in color from the chair, the color of the chair will change to match the current customer and you will need to try to match the next set of customers to this new color.
-
Step 4
Provide additional amenities to your customers to keep them happy. As the levels progress, you will unlock new tools that you can use to keep your customers satisfied. Serving customers a free drink will improve their moods. Families will need high chairs delivered to their tables to keep them happy. Eventually, you will be able to serve snacks and desserts and call in extra employees to entertain your customers, bus tables or serve drinks.
-
Step 5
Familiarize yourself with the different types of customers. There are seven different customer types in Diner Dash 2. Some have special needs. Families will always need a high chair. Cell-phone addicts are impatient and noisy and will disturb all other customers except for families, who can be noisy themselves. Bookworms and kindly seniors are very patient but also slow to order and eat. Businesswomen are impatient and fast to order and eat. Joggers and young ladies have moderate patience and average eating and ordering speeds.
-
Step 6
Complete each level by serving your customers as quickly as possible and meeting their needs. Try to seat noisy customers away from others, especially the quiet-loving bookworm. Match colors as often as possible and try to chain your actions for an added bonus. By following all of these strategies, you should be able to beat Diner Dash 2.
