Step 1
Take lake view photos, and enlarge them to a size that's suitable for framing. Hang several framed lake photos in a row along a hallway, or create a grouping on a wall in your family room. Purchase the same style frames and mats to add to the cohesive look of your lake décor.
-
Step 2
Decoupage one of your lake photos onto a painted wooden tray for lake décor that you can use. Unfinished wooden trays are available at craft stores; just prime and paint them to make your room's décor. Apply decoupage medium, and place the enlarged photo in the center of the tray. Cover the photo with more decoupage medium, and let it dry.

Step 3
Make a painted stained glass replica of a lake view that you can hang as a sun catcher on your porch or in a window. Enlarge one lake view photo to fit any size sheet of acrylic that will fit between the posts of your screened porch or in front of a window. Place the photo beneath the acrylic, and trace the image onto the front with a permanent marker. Fill in between the lines with stained glass paint. Cover the permanent marker lines with self-adhesive leading strips or liquid leading. Your lake sun catcher will fit in well with most any type of room décor.

Step 4
Make a candle holder centerpiece from a section of driftwood to fit a coffee or dining table at your lake house. Select a piece of driftwood that will sit, stand or lay securely on a flat surface. Drill 1-inch holes across the top of the driftwood that are 3/4-inch deep. Place tea lights in the holes.
