Step 1
Fill a clean, new spray bottle with warm water. Use either distilled water or filtered tap water so you won’t be adding an excess of one mineral over another to your salt hair spray, which can weigh hair down instead of giving it seaside bounce.
-
Step 2
Add five tablespoons of sea salt. Most regular grocery stores now carry sea salt. Don’t use regular table salt. You want the full spectrum of balanced minerals from the sea for your salt hair spray, and you don’t want the additives put in table salt.
-
Step 3
Shake and allow the salt to dissolve. Spray the salt hair spray throughout damp or dry hair and let it dry naturally or dry with a diffuser. Shake again before each use. As you continue to use your salt hair spray, you can adjust to slightly less or slightly more sea salt.
