Ever want to know how to train like the military does, not only will you build your body but your mind swell. in order to do these military style training you must be well rested and free from any distractions. okay lets begin

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a lot of heart.
  1. Step 1

Stretching, one of the most important things about beginning an intense exercise is starting with some good stretches. Begin with some side straddle hops a.k.a "jumping jacks" this get the heart moving and will prepare you for some good training. Next do some arm, leg, neck and hip rotations, just get them ready to work.

  2. Step 2

Push ups. About 3 sets of 10-20 depending on your current exercise level. Then follow with somw overhead arm claps, do as much as possible then about 20 more, then keep those arms up until they drop on there own. Follow this with about 50 crunches. When your starting to feel the burn do the most important exercise in my opinion, the "Iron mike" this is performed by lunging your first leg as far forward as possible while the second touches the ground with your knee. Do this for about an eighth of a mile.

  3. Step 3

and last but not least the run. In order to be fit for the military you must be able to run 1 mile in 8:50 (8 minutes and 50 seconds) but chances are you probably cant starting off. I'd start with a half mile light jog without stopping, progress that into a full mile jog followed by a 1 mile sprint then eventually a 2 mile run. if you can successfully complete these steps you are military worthy. Tips & Warnings
  • make sure you drink plenty of water and don't push yourself too hard, your body will tell you when you have had enough, TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK!
