How to Resize Microsoft Paint Pictures

You can change the look of Microsoft paint pictures in a few easy steps. If you have images that just don't look right at their current dimensions, you might be interested in performing this action. Whether the file is too thick or too thin, this guide will walk you through the process of adjusting your Microsoft paint pictures to your liking.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Point your cursor to start, press run and type "mspaint" into the dialogue box.

  2. Step 2

    On the program hit the file button, go to open, and select the Microsoft paint pictures that you would like to edit.

  3. Step 3

    On top press image and select stretch/skew. Alternatively you can hit ctrl + w.

  4. Step 4

    To adjust the width of Microsoft paint pictures, enter a higher or lower number in the horizontal box and press OK.

  5. Step 5

    To adjust the height of Microsoft paint pictures, enter a higher or lower number in the vertical section and click OK.

Tips & Warnings
  • When you are doing adjustments, you CAN go above 100%.
  • Here's an example, to double the width of Microsoft paint pictures you would type 200 into the horizontal box. To decrease it by half you would type 50.
