Get in shape during the holidays by using your work as a work out. Just a few adjustments and your typical jobs, housework, errands and chores can get you in shape.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • discipline
  • effort
  • determination
  1. Step 1

Get in shape during the holidays by using every single thing you have to do as a workout. Be creative and ask yourself how you can turn every day chores, errands and jobs into a quick miniature workout.

  2. Step 2

When you go to the grocery store or your child's school or church to see the Christmas Program park further away than usual. Every additional step you add to your daily duties helps get you in shape.

  3. Step 3

Put on some great dance music when you are cleaning or straightening your house and add a little kick to your step. When you have to take items upstairs, run up them or take two trips when you only need to take only one.

  4. Step 4

Save the vacuuming duties around the house for yourself. Vacuuming burns 238 calories per hour. Vacuum as much as possible during the holiday season to stay in shape.

While in the kitchen cooking, life canned foods like dumbbells while you're waiting for that water to boil.

To get in shape during the holiday season, put the mixer away and use a whisk. It burns 136 calories an hour and tones your arms too.

Tips & Warnings
  • Constantly think of little things you can add to your day to get you in shape during the holiday season.
  • If you get in shape by exercising more, you can eat a little more too.
