How to Bid at BeeZid

Beezid.com is a penny auction website that gives you an opportunity to win an item for far below its retail price. Users pre-pay for packages of 30 or more bids, and then use a bid to increase the price of an item by one cent. Because users pay for each bid, Beezid.com collectively earns more for an item than its retail price. However, the user who submits the final bid purchases it for substantially less than retail. Log in to your Beezid.com account if you would like to try this penny auction system.

Instructions

    • 1

Navigate in your Web browser to Beezid.com. Enter your username and password using the fields in the upper right corner of the window, and then click the "Login" button.

    • 2

Check the number next to "Bids" at the top of the screen to confirm that you have bids available. If you have no bids, click the "My Account" button at the top of the page, and then click one of the "Buy" buttons to purchase a bid package. Packages include 30-1000 bids, with each bid costing slightly under one dollar.

    • 3

Scroll down the screen to view the auctions that are close to ending. To see additional auctions, click the "All Live Auctions" link near the bottom of the page.

    • 4

Click the "Bid" button next to any auction to use one of your bids on that auction. This increases the bid price by 1 cent.

    • 5

Watch the auction to see if another user outbids you. If you are outbid, the user name under "Highest Bidder" changes. Click "Bid" again to place another bid on the auction. If the auction timer expires and no one outbids you, you win the item for the price displayed.

Tips & Warnings

  • Beezid gives you 10 free bids when you create a new account. However, these free bids can only be used on "cherry auctions" for new users. A cherry auction has an image of a cherry next to the name of the item.
