Everyone loves to eat cheesecake and this recipe is fun and easy to make. It is a hit at office potlucks, family parties and holiday gatherings. It is perfect to bring over when invited to someone's house for dinner. Does this Spark an idea?

  • 2 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 4 packages Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

      Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Mix the graham crackers, 1/4 cup sugar, and the butter together and press into the bottom of your pan.

      Beat cream cheese with the rest of the sugar and vanilla. Add sour cream and then eggs. Pour this mixture over the crust you already prepared.

      Bake 35-45 minutes. Refrigerate at least three hours. If you like, before serving drizzle cake with caramel, garnish with strawberries or add any other toppings.

Tips & Warnings

  • Experiment with different toppings. My son likes when I put strawberries over the top and my daughter likes when I drizzle chocolate fudge or caramel.

  • You can also add things to the crust like chopped nuts
