When a person is out of their comfort zone learning skills kick in to want to communicate, our feeling, sense of directions and safety come in to play. Our learning skills are on the alert to absorb and remember the unfamiliar words there are less likely to fade from our memory if they are needed to survive in an unfamiliar environment. Join local clubs and voluntary in your community where Spanish is spoken. Build friendship with individuals who speak Spanish and whom are willing to spend a few hours on a regular basis to teach you to speak the language and learn about the culture.

Listen to radio and TV while you are driving to do short or long road trips errands. By listening to and watching these programs, you add new words to your vocabulary, and gain understanding of the body language.
