Preparing the Ingredients: Boil your 5 cups of water. While the water is boiling wash your mint and place it in your serving pot. Also place in the pot the green tea a.k.a. gunpowder tea. Measure out your sugar and place it in the pot as well.

Once the water has boiled pour it into the teapot with the mint, green tea, and sugar. Let the mint tea steep for 5 minutes. The tea will get progressively stronger so make sure you don't wait long to serve it. Traditionally Moroccan mint tea is served in styled tea cups as show in the picture.

  3. Step 3

To store the tea, make sure you sift the green tea and mint out so the Moroccan tea does not turn bitter. You can serve over ice, or reheat on very low heat. Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
