How to Set a Homepage in Internet Explorer 9

Internet Explorer's home page setting determines the website that opens when you click the "Home" button or when Internet Explorer 9 first opens depending on your settings. A home page is normally a page you visit frequently and need to access easily. Changing your Internet Explorer home page only takes a few moments. It can be changed again at any time if you later decide to use another page.

Instructions

1. Open the "Start" menu. Type "Internet Explorer" in the search box and click on the shortcut that appears.

2. Navigate to the page you want to use as your home page. Click the gear-shaped "Tools" button.

3. Click "Internet options." Click the "Use current" button in the "Home page" section. Click "OK" to save your changes.
