Things You'll Need:
- Heavy duct tape
- Scissors
- Pipe wrench

Step 1
Cut a length of duct tape with the scissors.

Wrap the pipe nut with several layers of duct tape.

Place the jaws of the pipe wrench over the duct tape around the pipe.

Step 4
Tighten the wrench by turning the adjustment wheel below the jaws. Tighten until the serrated teeth in the jaws bite into the duct tape.

Step 5
Pull the wrench handle counter-clockwise around the pipe to loosen the nut. The duct tape offers extra traction.

Step 6
Cut off the duct tape from the nut with a scissors when finished.
