1
Use a clear margarita glass to make the flower arrangements. Once you have your margarita glass, begin preparing your work area by setting out all the necessary supplies to make your flower arrangement.
-
2
Turn the margarita glass upside down onto a piece of thin cardboard. Use a pencil to trace the rim of the margarita glass carefully onto the cardboard.
-
-
3
Cut out the cardboard circle with a sharp razor or knife. This will ensure that you will not have jagged edges, or a crooked circle.
-
4
Fill the margarita glass with wax crystals. A variety of wax crystal colors are available, choose a color that will match the "flavor" of your margarita. The crystals are available at craft stores.
-
5
After applying the wax crystals, begin attaching the cardboard circle. Use a hot glue gun to adhere the cardboard to the margarita glass. Carefully apply a little glue at a time to prevent the glue from running down the outside of the glass.
-
6
Turn the glass upside down to ensure that no crystals will spill out. This is important because if your flower arrangement falls down, you do not want the arrangement to be ruined.
-
7
Glue a small Styrofoam piece onto the top of the margarita glass. Craft stores carry Styrofoam made specifically for flower arrangements. Only glue the Styrofoam on if you plan to use silk flowers with stems.
-
8
Arrange the flowers onto the top of the margarita glass. Use hot glue or a strong craft glue to apply the silk flowers. Ensure that the cardboard does not show through the flowers. Choose silk flowers that compliment your "flavor" or use white flowers to create foam for the margarita.
-
9
Add embellishments to the margarita arrangements. Glue a straw into the middle of the flowers, add artificial fruit to the margarita or add charms to the margarita glasses.
