Choose a color theme and select ribbons to match. The usual route would be pink for a girl, blue for a boy and yellow for the surprise addition. If you want to break out, try brown and pink, orange and blue, or purple and teal.
-
2
Adhere thick strips of ribbon to the wall as a border using poster putty or two-sided tape. For added depth, use rows of ribbon.

-
3
Spell out your baby's name with wooden letters and hang them on the wall using ribbon.
-
4
Decorate a group of frames by hanging ribbon from the bottom. Attach the ribbon to the backs of the frames with a strong adhesive, a hot glue gun or tacks. Tie a ribbon bow and adhere it to the top part of a frame. Display a big ribbon bow in a frame or shadowbox and make it the focal point of your grouping.

5
Hang thick strands where the wall meets the ceiling and attach cards, pictures, the birth announcement or other mementos using paper clips or small clothespins. You can even clip barrettes right to the ribbon.
