How to Convert Videos to Sony MP3 Format

Occasionally, users will need to extract a song or audio background from a video file. In extracting Sony MP3 audio from video files, also known as converting videos to Sony MP3 format, an audio extractor utility may be used. Several audio extractors and converters are available for download. Many offer trial versions of their software free. One audio extractor application offered as a free trial version is AoA Audio Extractor.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Download and install AoA Audio Extractor trial version. Launch the application after it has finished installing.

  2. Step 2

    Click the button labeled "Audio Extractor" in the top right of the program.

  3. Step 3

    Click the "Add" icon in the right navigation panel to expose the file navigation and selection dialog box.

  4. Step 4

    Navigate to the video file to be used for the audio extraction. The AoA Audio Extractor will accommodate most video file types.

  5. Step 5

    Double-click the video file to select.

  6. Step 6

    Select "MP3" from the "Output Format" dropdown box.

  7. Step 7

    Specify the location to save the output file in the input box labeled "Output File."

  8. Step 8

    Click the "Start" button at the bottom right of the right navigation bar to begin the audio extraction.

  9. Step 9

    Click the "OK" button to finish the extraction.

  10. Step 10

    Open Windows Explore and navigate to the new MP3 file. Open the file in a compatible audio player to test.
