Instructions

    • 1

Grab the power drill and make sure it is fully charged. The continuous spinning during buffing can wear the battery down quickly.

    • 2

Connect the buffer pad to the power drill by slipping the bit side of the buffer into the drill's receptor. Tighten the drill around the bit until secure.

    • 3

Squeeze out a liberal amount of PlastX cleaning solution on to the buffer pad. Make sure there is enough to cover the circular pad.

    • 4

Press the center of the buffer pad to the cloudy headlight. Turn on the drill and move in a circular motion around the headlight to spread the buffering agent. After about 3 or 4 minutes of buffing, it should be done.

    • 5

Wipe away the PlastX with the included microfiber cloth. Your headlights should now look like new again.

Tips & Warnings

  • For really scratched or extra cloudy headlights, you may want to buff out the scratches multiple times.

  • Make sure there isn't any road grit or dirt on your headlights before buffing. If small rocks or sand get trapped in the power drill's buffing head, it could make things much worse.

  • Always be sure the drill bit is properly attached before you turn the drill on.

  • Do not turn the drill on unless it is being held against the headlight, you will get plastx everywhere.
