Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bowl
  • Paper towels
  • Baking sheet
  • Cooking spray
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. coriander
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 2 tbsp. of sugar
  1. Step 1

Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.

  2. Step 2

Remove the pumpkin seeds from the pumpkin with your hands and rinse them off. Wash the stringy flesh from the pumpkin off of the seeds. You may need to use a bowl to hold the seeds.

  3. Step 3

Set the seeds on paper towels. Use another paper towel to pat the top parts of the seeds dry.

  4. Step 4

Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Set your pumpkin seeds on the baking sheet so that they are in a single layer.

  5. Step 5

Combine the brown sugar, paprika, coriander, cumin and sugar in a small bowl. Toss with the pumpkin seeds.

  6. Step 6

Bake the pumpkin seeds in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Toss them after 10 minutes so that they do not stick to the pan.

  7. Step 7

Allow the pumpkin seeds to cool before eating.

Tips & Warnings
  • Store pumpkin seeds in an airtight container. You could also place some in a plastic snack bag and pack them in a lunchbox.
  • You can opt for simply sprinkling salt all over your pumpkin seeds, but you won't get a sweet taste.
