Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Gather and prepare the following ingredients for the coffee crunch snack and coffee parfait recipe:

    (For the Coffee Crunch)
    * 1/2 cup strong coffee
    * 4 pounds bakers' chocolate, chopped
    * 4 egg whites
    * 2-1/2 cups brown sugar
    * 1 cup chopped nuts of your choice (i.e. peanuts, walnuts, almonds)
    * 1/4 cup corn syrup or pure honey

    (For the Coffee Parfait)
    * 1/3 cup hot espresso, or 1 cup regular coffee (instant okay)
    * 1 cup heavy cream
    * 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
    * 4 tablespoons sugar

    (For Garnishing)
    * Ground cinnamon and/or cocoa powder
    * Chocolate syrup

  2. Step 2

    Make the coffee parfait first as it needs chilling. Dissolve completely the sugar in hot coffee; set aside to cool. Meanwhile, whip with electric mixer the heavy cream until soft peaks form. coffee together.

    Blend coffee and condensed milk together, whipping with spoon for 3 minutes. Fold in the whipped cream. Spoon mixture into serving bowls or glasses. Cover, freeze until like ice cream, about 4 hours.

  4. Step 4

    Make the coffee crunches while the coffee parfait is freezing. Spray some cooking oil or butter a large saucepan. Combine and cook coffee, honey (or corn syrup), sugar and salt on high heat. Stir and cook until sugar dissolves and ingredients comes to a boil. Remove saucepan from heat.

  5. Step 5

    Beat egg whites to stiff peaks in a large bowl with electric mixer on high speed. Slowly pour in the saucepan content, continue beating while adding until soft peaks form. Add chopped nuts and beat until incorporated, about 3 minutes. Cover and put in the freezer to firm, about 3 hours.

    Line baking pan with waxed paper. Melt the chocolate in microwave oven or saucepan using high heat. Spoon and drop a teaspoonful of the chilled mixture in the melted chocolate. Let the coffee crunch harden in room temperature and then cool in the fridge until coffee parfait is ready.

    Drizzle and sprinkle chocolate syrup, round cinnamon on coffee parfait and coffee crunch. Enjoy!
