Do you love to give presents? Is your heart bigger than your pocketbook? Everyone can give presents, we just have to look around and try to think outside the box in our giving.

  1. Step 1

    FIND OUT IF YOUR TOWN OR SURROUNDING TOWNS HAVE BOOKSTORES THAT WILL BUY BACK GENTLY USED BOOKS. The national chain Half-price books will and many locallly owned books stores will. Scour your house, thrift stores and garage sales for gently used books. Most stores will give more for in-store credit, but many will give outright cash. Also, you may sell online at www.half.com and get money for your books. BUT, you have to ship these items and that can be a little hassle. Check out this way of getting money for gifts and giving gifts for free.

  2. Step 2

    * USE REBATES, COUPONS, BUY ONE GET ONE OFFERS, CVS EXTRACARE BUCKS, AND WALGREENS REGISTER RECEIPTS. There are always ways to get extra things to give away. All you have to do is determine that you will use these extra things to give away. Many stores give you $5.00 and $10.00 coupons. Many wonderful free gifts can be bought with those extra dollars.

  3. Step 3

    USE THE INTERNET TO GIVE GIFTS FOR FREE. There are numerous websites that if you click on their site, advertisers will donate to the charity for you! What a unique way to give gifts for free! (See resources for some websites.)
