How to Write a Course Evaluation
Most students aren't very experienced writing course evaluations-but if you really want to help your teacher improve-or convey those things that need to be improved on, you need to keep your course evaluation organized and precise. These steps will help you write a course evaluation that will keep your writing smooth and organized.

1
Identify the course and the teacher. A course evaluation won't do much good without the vital information, so make sure you get these two things on your course evaluation.
-
2
Be constructive. In your course evaluation mention a few things that you liked about the class or that you thought effective. Nobody will take your course evaluation seriously if it just seems like a rant whose purpose is to condemn your professor. Mention a few things you thought the professor did well, or that might be commendable and worth mentioning. Be positive and constructive in your analysis.

3
Keep an open mind. When you write a course evaluation it's important to consider that not everyone will think or believe the same way as you. Be careful not to offend others from different religions, races, or perspectives. Keep your criticism professional and try to take a viewpoint from the teacher's perspective.
-
4
Offer areas that might be improved. A course evaluation won't be very helpful to the teacher without areas that might be improved. Even if the teacher was incredible, there is always room to improve or things that might be done better. Consider the methods for doing homework, taking tests, and the assignments given during the duration of the course. Keep your criticism professional and constructive.
