It can be hard to find time for reading. Many people have busy schedules that don’t provide time for reading, whether it’s for pleasure, learning or personal fulfillment. Here’s how you can find the time for reading.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Keep reading materials with you at all times. You can fit a small novel in your purse to read while waiting at the doctors office. Keep magazines or books in every room of your house. Instead of watching T.V. or talking on the phone, you’ll be more likely to pick up something to read if it’s in your visual range.

  2. Step 2

Go to bed a little earlier. Reading for a half hour to an hour before bed can really help to relax you. Keep the same book by your bed, and you will have something to look forward to at the end of a hectic or busy day.

  3. Step 3

Keep work materials handy at work. Have a folder or separate inbox for work-related materials that aren’t time-sensitive, but that eventually need to be read. Use these materials to read during breaks or off-peak times during your work day.
