How to Make That Awesome Cup Of Hot Cocoa On a Cold Winters Day/Night

When its cold outside it is always nice to come inside and wrap your hands around a hot cup of hot cocoa. Those cold winter days/nights are moving in on us, weather we want them or not!! This recipe makes about 4 8oz cups, but if you are like me and like your hot cocoa you will have a big mug!! Of course you can always share.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/3 cup of nestle toll house baking cocoa
• 4 cups milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• Whipped cream or mini marshmallows (optional)
• Shaved dark chocolate, or a dash of cinnamon(optional)

1. 

   Combine sugar add cocoa in medium saucepan, stir. Gradually stir in 1/3 cup of the milk to make a smooth paste. Next stir in the rest of the milk.

2. 

   Warm over medium heat, you must keep stirring until hot, do not boil. Remove from heat, stir in the vanilla extract.

3. 

   Pour into your favorite mug and top with whip cream or mini marshmallows. Then add some shaved dark chocolate, or a little dash of cinnamon. You now have your awesome cup oh hot cocoa. ENJOY!!!!

Tips & Warnings

• Caution cocoa will be very hot!!
