How to Cook With a Veggie Basket on the Grill
Grilled vegetables are a perennial favorite at barbecues, but they're not always convenient to make. Vegetables tend to stick to the grill, and often fall through the grates due to their small size. They also take up a lot of valuable grill space and should be kept away from raw meats to avoid contamination issues. Using a veggie basket on the grill eliminates these issues and turns out perfect grilled vegetables with ease. Does this Spark an idea?

Cut up vegetables. If using more than one variety of vegetable, make sure they are all cut to the same approximate size so they cook evenly. They should be small enough to fit in your grilling basket but not small enough to slip through the cracks.

Season vegetables to taste. Some people like their grilled vegetables plain, some prefer exotic marinades. No matter your preference, though, be sure to toss them with a bit of oil (olive oil, vegetable oil or peanut oil) to prevent sticking and some salt and pepper for flavoring.

Place vegetables in veggie grilling basket. Arrange them in an even layer.

Place veggie basket on grill. If you like your vegetables to have charred edges, place the veggie basket over a hot part of the grill. If you prefer them cooked without being charred, place basket over a cooler area and cook for a slightly longer time.
