1
Choose various size Styrofoam cones. For home decor, choose two or three with varying heights. If you plan to use the flower cones as centerpieces, group three of varying heights on a silver tray or round mirror.
-
2
Spray paint the cones with a metallic paint, such as gold or silver. For easier application, insert a small wooden dowel about 2 inches into the bottom of a cone and hold while spray painting. Be sure to apply the paint in a well-ventilated area. Let each cone dry completely.

3
Cut the stems on the flowers so they are about two inches long. Use any type of flower that matches your decor. Gerber daisies, hydrangeas, calla lilies and roses are all good choices.
-
4
Insert one to two flowers into the pointed end of each cone. Glue a small amount of craft moss around the cone, directly under the flowers, to hide the stems. If desired, glue on a bow. Set the finished cones on a wall shelf, table or use as centerpieces.

Tips & Warnings
Instead of painting the cones with metallic paint, apply a spray adhesive over a Styrofoam cone. While the cone is still wet, roll it in glitter. Let the cone dry before inserting flowers.
