Gather your liquor and arrange it in one spot behind the bar. A well-stocked bar runs smoothly on rum, vodka, tequila and gin. Then add the base mixers for a "signature" drink and chill beer in the refrigerator. Keep these basics on hand.

Corral your glassware, preferably on a closed shelf where they can be kept dust-free. If that's not possible, store them rim side down. Stock these glasses--highball, martini, old-fashioned, red wine, white wine, beer pilsners or mugs. Beer mugs can be stored in a freezer for that extra frosty touch.
