How to View a Private Photobucket Account

Photobucket is an online photo sharing website where you can upload your pictures, create albums and send the links to friends and family so they can see your pictures. However, if someone is sharing her Photobucket with you and she has chosen to make her account private for various reasons, you will have to obtain a password to view her Photobucket account.

Instructions

1. Ask the person whose Photobucket you are trying to view for the password. You will not be able to access the album unless you know what the password is. If he has sent you a link, try contacting him to see if he would be able to give you the password.

2. Go to the link he has sent you in your Internet browser. Typically the link consists of the Photobucket address, with the name of the album that is password protected at the end. After the page loads, it will say "Login to a Private Photobucket.com Album" on the very top of your browser.

3. Locate the area in the middle of the screen, "Login to Photobucket." In the box next to "Password," type in the password and then click "See Their Album." If you have entered the correct password, you will now have access to view the pictures.

Tips & Warnings

• Bookmark the page you have been given for quick and easy access if you want to view it again. Normally you can click "Bookmark" on the menu bar on your Internet browser, and click "Bookmark This Page." That way you do not have to remember the link or ask that person again. A good way to remember the password is to keep it saved in a document somewhere on your computer.

• Never try to access someone's album without permission. You will not be given any hints because this is someone else's account and she has made it private for a reason.
