1
Place protective pads beneath all of the legs on your furniture and chairs; use felt pads or plastic caps.
-
2
Protect your floor in areas of high traffic by placing walk-off mats. Use courser-grained mats to trap gravel and debris near door entrances. Always clean underneath mats to prevent trapped sand and gravel from scratching the surface of your floor.

3
Eliminate dirt and dust using a vacuum cleaner with a soft duster attachment, a soft microfiber cloth or a broom.
-
4
Perform regular cleaning on marginally dirty floors using only a moistened cloth or mop that is well wrung-out. Do not use detergent cleaners.
-
5
Use Kendall Laminated Wood Floor Cleaner for hard-to-remove stains such as mud, tar, grease or shoe polish. Apply on a dampened cloth and rub the affected area. Apply on a dampened mop if larger areas are affected.
