How to Remove Stains With Egg Whites
Gum is a sticky substance that is hard to get off carpet and clothing. If you don't remove the gum the correct way, you can end up with an unwanted stain. One home remedy that works well to remove the gum and get rid of the stain is to use egg whites. Does this Spark an idea?

Separate your egg whites from your egg yolks with an egg separator. If you don't have one, keep transferring your egg from shell to shell until all of the egg white has fallen into your bowl.

Use a toothbrush to apply the egg whites to your stuck-on gum. Let the egg whites sit for 15 to 20 minutes before continuing.

Use the back end of your toothbrush to lift the gum off the carpet or piece of clothing.

Rinse your toothbrush off and add a little dish soap.

Scrub the dish soap into the spot where the gum was, and then rinse with water.

Tips & Warnings
If the gum was on a piece of clothing, you can use laundry detergent instead of dish soap.
