How to Disable the Content Advisor

Content Advisor is a parental-control feature that is included in the Internet Explorer web browser. You can use Content Advisor to block harmful or inappropriate websites from being viewed on your computer. If you change your mind and decide that you no longer want to use Content Advisor, you can easily disable it.

Instructions

      Launch Internet Explorer.

      Click "Tools" and select "Internet Options" from the menu.

      Click on the "Content" tab.

    • 4

      Click on the "Disable" button beneath the "Content Advisor" heading.

    • 5

      Enter the "Supervisor" password; if you have not set a password, leave the box empty. Press "Enter" on your keyboard. Content Advisor will be disabled. Click "OK" to exit the menu.
