How to Use Bentonite Clay at Home to Detox Your Colon

Bentonite clay, also known as Aluminum Phyllosilicate, is a lightweight clay that is extracted from volcanic ash throughout the world. It was used heavily by natives in helping to alleviate distress of the digestive system. This clay is edible, and its properties assist in absorbing toxin-laden water from the digestive system as it passes through. This activity may remove heavy metal deposits and acidic fluids from the walls of the intestinal tract, thus preventing them from being absorbed into the blood stream.

Instructions

    • 1

Mix one tablespoon of powdered Bentonite clay in a six-ounce glass of warm water and stir vigorously to dissolve the clay thoroughly. Your mixture should appear as a whitish-gray milky water when mixed properly.

    • 2

Drink the Bentonite mixture immediately, ingesting the entire amount within two minutes, or the mixture will become too thick to drink.

    • 3

Eat normal meals throughout the day, as usual, but refrain from eating them within one hour before or one hour after ingesting the Bentonite clay mixture, as eating meals too close to ingestion of the clay may interfere with the effectiveness of the cleanse.
