Download Photo Story 3. Visit the Microsoft Photo Story 3 web page. Read the program features and ensure your computer meets the system requirements. Though the program was made for Windows XP, it will also work on Windows Vista. Install the program.

Create your memorial slide show. Open Photo Story 3 and press "Begin a new story." Press the "Import" button and select the pictures you want to include in your slide show. Press "Next" and add titles to your images. Press "Next" once more and continue through the remainder of the steps, following the on-screen directions.

Save your slide show. Select the destination folder for your slide show and follow the on-screen prompts. Press "Next." Photo Story will create your slide show.
