How to Remove Water Stains From Cotton Upholstery
Of all the things that leave unsightly stains on our belongings, water is the last thing we'd suspect. Water stains can be some of the most irritating stains to clean if you don't know what to expect. Most conventional stain removers won't touch this stain and can even make it worse. Try Paper Towels

Dampen a clean cloth and gently wipe the area to get it wet again.

Fold two to three paper towels in half and place them directly on the affected area.

Place something heavy on the paper towels to weigh them down and press them to the stain.

Allow the paper towels to sit on the stain for 4 to 5 minutes.

Use a hair dryer on a cool setting to help dry the area. Aim the hair dryer directly over the paper towels and continue to blow air at the area to help transfer the moisture from the upholstery to the paper towels.
If the Stain Persists

Mix white vinegar and water in equal parts.

Dip a clean cloth in the solution and wring it out well.

Wipe the area with the cloth until the stain is no longer visible.

Dry the area immediately with a hair dryer on a cool setting.
