A common name for acne is acne vulgaris, and it's not just a teenage problem. Pimples can happen to anyone from early teens and beyond. Other different acne problems of the skin include whiteheads, blackheads, pustules and cysts. Pimples pop out when there are excessive sebaceous (oil) glands that occur mainly around the face, chest and back. If pimples are left untreated, they can become a serious problem. There are many ways to cure and prevent pimples at home for example diet, natural supplements and facials. However, it is best to always consult your dermatologist about your pimples before you start any kind of home treatment.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Acne cure can be tricky, but very possible. Start your treatment of choice as soon as you notice the slightest discomfort on your skin, and stick to the given instructions.

  2. Step 2

Change your diet. Eat non-fat or low-fat dairy products. Avoid caffeine, fast foods, and snack foods such as pretzels, chips and foods tat contain fat.

  3. Step 3

Eat lots of fresh fruits, vegetables and salads that include high in vitamin A such as carrots, apricots, green leafy vegetables romaine lettuce and spinach. Vitamin A helps to reduce oils in your skin and to maintain and repair tissues. This tends to be a reliable and effective natural acne treatment.

  4. Step 4

Read all labels on packaged foods, as they will give you a better idea of what it is you're eating.

  5. Step 5

Use natural supplements. These supplements for pimples will decrease the inflammation and infection and will nourish the skin. Purchase supplements at a vitamin store, as they will often have a higher quality than purchasing them at a discount or grocery store.

  6. Step 6

Purchase vitamins and minerals. Vitamin A and zinc are very important for acne eruptions and skin healing.

  7. Step 7

Apply facial masks. Honey facial is a common mask to use for pimples and acne. Honey rejuvenates the skin and acts as an antimicrobial (antibiotics). Honey is also gentle on your skin and helps heal minor pimples.

  8. Step 8

Get plenty of sleep, reduce stress and control hormone control to reduce the pimples. Drink lots of water, which will flush away harmful toxin and moisturizes the skin. This is by far one of the best natural acne medications.

  9. Step 9

Keep your hair away from your face as hair contains oil and will contribute to your pimple breakouts. Avoid certain make-up, which will contribute to clogging pores. Water-based make-up is the best to purchase and wear.

Tips & Warnings
  • Home treatments can help to reduce pimples but a better solution is to visit a dermatologist for the right treatment.
