Want to learn how to make your own homemade bug repellent spray. There is a very simple and easy recipe to make your own bug spray. Just follow these very simple steps and you're on your way to enjoying the outdoors without bugs all over you.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Spray Bottle
  • Half Cup of Witch Hazel
  • Half Cup of Cider Vinegar
  • Eucalyptus Oil
  1. Step 1

    So first you're going to need to find an empty spray bottle. Make sure it is clean and dry. It would be ideal if it was new but an old or used bottle works just fine.

  2. Step 2

    First pour the half cup of witch hazel into the bottle. This acts as the foundation for the bug repellent.

  3. Step 3

    Second pour the half cup of cider vinegar. Vinegar is a processed acidic liquid from the fermentation of ethanol

  4. Step 4

    Then add about five to ten drops of the eucalyptus oil. Eucalyptus oil' s cineole based ingredients that's have been used for thousands of years to fight pesticides.

  5. Step 5

    Shake the bottle thoroughly

  6. Step 6

    Spray your body (DO NOT spray the face area) and enjoy not having to worry about getting bug bites.
