Sweet and Spicy Chicken Satay is a delicious choice for lunch or dinner. Sweet and Spicy Chicken Satay takes nearly two hours to prepare, so it’s not something that you will be able to quickly dish up, but it is a great option if you are having guests over and want to impress them with something you may not regularly have. This Sweet and Spicy Chicken Satay recipe has also been rated at four and half out of five stars.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Gather the ingredients needed: 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce, 3 large skinless-boneless, chicken breast halves, 1 tablespoon red curry paste, and 16 bamboo skewers. You will also want to soak the bamboo sticks in water for 20 minutes.

  2. Step 2

Gather a medium sized bowl and stir together the teriyaki sauce, vinegar, condensed milk, and curry paste.

  3. Step 3

Using the mixture that you just made, coat both sides of the chicken breasts, and marinate the chicken breasts for at least an hour and a half. Be sure to keep the chicken breasts in the refrigerator while they are marinating.

  4. Step 4

Determine whether you want to use your grill or broiler to cook the chicken, and preheat whichever you plan to use. You will want to have it on high-heat. Take the chicken out of the marinade, and place the pieces of chicken onto skewers. You can discard the remaining marinade you have left over.

  5. Step 5

Cook the chicken on each side for about 3 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. Allow to cool, and serve!
