Step 1
Download and install Ubuntu 9.04 UCK. This is available in the official Ubuntu repositories. You can install it by using the Synaptic Package Manager. To do this, click the System button located near the top of the window. Click Administration and then Synaptic Package Manager on the dropdown menu that appears.

Type in your administrative password to continue. Once the Synaptic Package Manager is open, you will need to use the quick search feature to search for the “uck” package. Type this into the search field and click the checkmark named Mark for Installation.

Click Mark to accept the UCK dependencies. Click Apply to start the installation process.
You will need to confirm your decision by clicking the Apply button again. After doing this, UCK and its dependencies will be installed. -
Step 4
Click Close to leave Synaptic. After installing UCK, you can open it by clicking the Applications button located at the top of the screen. After that, click System Tools and then Ubuntu Customization Kit.

Click Close to proceed once you see the Welcome screen. Now you need to select the language packs you would like to have on the Live-CD. Select a language to continue.
After that, you will need to select the desktop environments that will be included on the Live-CD. -
Step 6
Select the Ubuntu ISO file from your hard drive. This will be used for the customized Live-CD. After selecting the ISO file, you will need to create a name for the Live-CD. If you want to customize settings, click Yes. If not, select No. If you want to remove all Windows-related files from the Live-CD, click Yes.

Step 7
Click Close to start the Live-CD creation process. Type in your password to continue. The customized Live-CD will now be created. This may take a few minutes.
After doing this, you should see a message telling you where to find the Live-CD ISO file on your computer. If the ISO file is too large to put on a CD, you will receive a warning message.
You can now burn the ISO image onto a CD. And you are done!
