Audio Video Interleave, or AVI, is the most common format for audio/video data on the PC. The MP4 or M4V format is another video compression standard, which was introduced in 1998. This tutorial will show you how to convert AVI to M4V with the RiverPast Video Cleaner. RiverPast Video Cleaner is a video conversion and editing software.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Download and install the River Past Video Cleaner from its official website: http://www.riverpast.com/. Next, launch the program by double clicking on its desktop icon.

  2. Step 2

Click on the Add File button, which is located on the toolbar. The file open dialog should be open now. Click on AVI (Audio Video Interleave), which is found in the Files of type section.

  3. Step 3

Select the file you want to convert, and then click on Open. The file will then be added to the conversion file list. (See NOTE below).
