Find a well-lit place where you can put your makeup on. Natural light is best, but make sure it's not so light that your face appears bright or that the light hits one side of your face more than the other.

2
Create shadows around your nose. Dip your makeup brush in the dark foundation powder. Tap it off. Make a line down each side of your nose, and blend it out on both sides.

Shorten the appearance of your nose. Take a smaller makeup brush and dip it in the darker foundation powder. Tap it off. Brush the tip and bottom edge of your nose downward a few times. Go a little darker than the shadow lines in step 2.

Highlight the center of your nose. Taking a small clean makeup brush, dip it in the lighter powder. Brush is straight down the middle of your nose from top to tip. But don't overlap the dark lines. You may use a highlighting pen or cream for this step, then lightly blend it with your fingers.
