Things You'll Need:
- 16 oz. Tub Cool whip
- 1 can evaporated milk(12 oz)
- 1 can sweet condensed milk (14 oz)
- 1 egg white
- green food coloring
- pistachios (no shells) about 1/2 a package.
- blender
- 13 x 9 glass tray

Step 1
When you plan on making this ice cream keep in mind that it takes a day to freeze. Okay first things first, thaw out the cool whip.
Do not microwave it! Thaw at room temp. While the cool whip is thawing out. Go ahead and blend your pistachios in the food processor. Give them a good couple goes until well crushed. Remove from processor and set a side. -
Step 2
Now add in the cool whip into the processor and blend once or twice.
Then add in your whole can of evaporated milk and blend again.
Next add in you whole can of sweet condensed milk and blend together.
After all of these ingredients are blended and in the one egg white and blend well. -
Step 3
After all the ingredients are blended together add in your reserved pistachios and green food coloring. Save some of the pistachio powder to garnish the top of the ice cream when ready to serve.
Blend the pistachios and green food coloring until you get the green color you desire. -
Step 4
Now your ready to freeze the ice cream mixture.
Pour all of the mixture into your glass tray cover and freeze for about a day or two. When ready to serve cut the pieces into triangles and garnish with pistachio powder. Enjoy!!
